Reminiscing – Summer Days in St. Michaels, MD

I am a big fan of Winter. Nothing pleases me more than sitting it in front of a roaring fire while wearing my fuzzy socks and sipping a cup full of warm (slightly spiked) goodness. BUT… every now and again, a cold rainy day will chill you to the bone and have you longing for a balmy 80 degree afternoon. The kind of day when the sun is beaming high in the sky and the only thing on the agenda is dining al fresco after a long bike ride. At the end of the summer, we had enjoyed a day very much like that on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the lovely town of St. Michaels.

St. Michaels is steeped in history and is as charming a town as you can find. It is perfect of a day trip or a long weekend anytime of year but it shined rather brightly during our visit on Labor Day Weekend. Have a look.

It ain't rocket science. A day spent in the lovely town of St. Michaels will leave you longing for more.
