“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” – Edgar Degas
During a recent trip to Denver there was art everywhere in the street. Yes, I am a firm believer that ‘street art’ is every bit as important as the art found in museums and galleries. It is art by the people and for the people. Put out there for all to enjoy.
This is for you to enjoy:
Should you find yourself in the lovely city of Denver on the first Friday of the month or the second Saturday, treat yourself to a evening art walk in one of Art Districts around the city where the galleries stay open late encouraging you to come in and indulge in both contemporary and traditional art. The surrounding bars and restaurants are also open late providing a vibrant atmosphere. If you find yourself arriving on a random Tuesday choose a district and explore on your own. There are hubs of art districts and museums around Denver that appeal to every art lover. Find more details here and here.
